The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of a Rosedale man for an Assault that occurred on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 2:10 PM in Woodmere.
According to Detectives, two male employees of Spray Foam Insulation USA got into a verbal argument while working at a residence located on Woodmere Boulevard North. The argument escalated and the Defendant Andy Miller, 29, of 246-03 137th Avenue displayed a knife and stabbed a male victim, 49, in the abdomen causing a deep laceration and also in the forearm. Co-workers were able to remove the knife from the defendant and called police. Upon officer’s arrival, the defendant Andy Miller was placed under arrest without incident. The male victim was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment. He is currently listed in stable condition.
Defendant Andy Miller is charged with Assault 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
