The Eighth Squad reports the arrest of a undomiciled male on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 11:58 am for multiple Burglaries that occurred throughout Nassau County.
According to Detectives, Defendant Joseph Borrello, 52, was responsible for unlawfully entering numerous establishments, by breaking the glass before entering and removing various items and US currency.
After an extensive investigation, detectives located the defendant and placed him under arrest without incident. No injuries were reported. The following locations were impacted:
- 10/06/25 – The Corner Store – Located at 260 Rockaway Parkway, Valley Stream
- 10/16/25 – Clinton Grocery – located at 89 Clinton Street, Hempstead
- 10/21/25 - The Corner Store - Located at 260 Rockaway Parkway, Valley Stream
- 10/22/25 – David’s Express Barber Shop – 1 Anchor Ave., Oceanside
- 10/24/25 - Kawa Sushi – located at 630 Broadway, Massapequa
- 10/24/25 – Mario’s Pizzeria – located at 624 Broadway, Massapequa
- 10/24/25 – Pit Stop Gas Station – located at 582 Broadway, Massapequa
- 10/27/25 – Munsey Park Bagel – located at 1661 Northern Blvd., Manhasset
- 10/28/25 – Villa Deli – located at 337 Wantagh Ave., Levittown
- 10/28/25 – That Pizza Place – located at 303 Wantagh Ave., Levittown
- 10/30/25 – Beyond Bagels – located at 523 N. Broadway, Jericho
Defendant Joseph Borrello is charged with eleven (11) counts of Burglary 3rd Degree, six (6) counts of Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, four (4) counts of Petit Larceny, three (3) counts of Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, two (2) counts of Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, Grand Larceny 4th Degree and Criminal Mischief 4th Degree. He will be arraigned on Friday, October 31, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
