The Sixth Squad reports the arrest of a Roslyn Estates woman for an incident that occurred on Monday, March 9, 2026 at approximately 2:00 PM in North Hills.
According to detectives, officers responded to Christopher Morley Park located at 500 Searingtown Road for a found juvenile. Upon arrival, officers located an unattended 4 year old girl. After an investigation at the scene, it was determined that the girl’s grandmother, Defendant Zhuying Ma, 68, left her alone at the park and went home. She was placed under arrest when she returned to the park. The girl was released to a family member.
Defendant Zhuying Ma is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She will be arraigned on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
