The Third Squad reports the arrest of a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania man for two incidents that occurred on Thursday, November 13, 2025 in Nassau County.
According to Detectives, Police responded to a Jefferson Street residence in Westbury and a Siegel Street residence in New Cassel for 911 calls. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown person did damage both victim’s vehicles and removed their catalytic converters. The male suspect fled in an unknown direction prior to police arrival. After a thorough investigation, Defendant, Madinson Silverio Ventura, 27, of 561 Carson Street was located and arrested without incident. The Defendant is currently incarcerated in Suffolk County and awaiting trial for a similar incident.
Defendant Ventura is charged with two counts of Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, two counts of Auto Stripping 3rd Degree and two counts of Petit Larceny. He will be arraigned on Monday, July 6, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
