NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

** UPDATE **

County Executive Bruce A. Blakeman and Police Commissioner Patrick J. Ryder announce that the Nassau County Police Department will be participating in the

“43rd Annual National Night Out”, a unique crime and drug prevention event.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is designed to:

· Build strong relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve

· Generate support and participation in community programs

· Strengthen neighborhood spirits while fostering positive police-community partnerships

When: Tuesday, August 4th, 2026

National Night Out Events Scheduled in Nassau County:

1st Precinct

5:00pm - 8:30pm: Van Ness Fire Department - 154 Uniondale Avenue, Uniondale

6:30pm - 8:30pm: Brookside Elementary School - 940 Stanton Avenue, Baldwin

2nd Precinct

6:00pm - 8:00pm: Nassau County Cantiague Park - 480 W. John Street, Hicksville

3rd Precinct

5:30pm - 8:00pm: Parade line up (5:00pm) Westbury Salvation Army - 992 Prospect Avenue. Parade begins at 5:30pm and ends at Martin “Bunky” Reid Park, Westbury. Fair begins 6:00pm

6:30pm - 9:00pm: Children's Ride for a Safer Williston Park. Parade line up at 6:30pm at Broad Street & Amherst Street, Williston Park. Parade begins at 7:00pm and ends at Kelleher Field

4th Precinct

6:00pm - 10:00pm: Cedarhurst Park - Cedarhurst Avenue & Summit Avenue

5th Precinct

6:00pm - 8:00pm: St. Boniface Church - 631 Elmont Road, Elmont

6th Precinct

4:00pm - 6:00pm: Whitney Pond Park - 133 Valley Road, Manhasset

7th Precinct

5:00pm - 9:00pm: John Burns Park - Merrick Road, Massapequa
