The Seventh Squad reports the arrest of two Massapequa Park men for an incident that occurred on Tuesday, June 23, 2025 at 1:55 pm in Massapequa Park.

According to Detectives, Officers responded for an assault at a Grant Street residence. Upon arrival, Officers were informed that the defendant Brian Mckeon, 67, and Brian Mckeon Jr, 33, both of 213 Grant Street got into a verbal argument with a male victim, 34, on a nearby property. The argument escalated into physical altercation and the defendants struck the victim multiple times with a wooden rod and a black baseball bat. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment. The defendants were located nearby and placed into custody. Further investigation led to the recovery of a black baseball bat and wooden rod.

Defendant Brian Mckeon and Defendant Brian Mckeon Jr are charged with Assault 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree. They will be arraigned on Wednesday, June 24, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
