The Public Information Office reports the arrest of a Freeport man during a Quality-of-Life initiative that occurred on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 8:55 PM in Roosevelt.
According to Police, Strategic Response Team (SRT) Officers responded to Nassau Fish Market located at 245 Nassau Road to conduct a licensed premise inspection. During the investigation, officers observed four electronic gambling machines inside the premises which were seized. Officers recovered $4134 in US Currency from inside the machines.
Defendant Rafael Osorio, 29, of 346 N Columbus Avenue, was issued Appearance Tickets under New York State Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Law and Town of Hempstead Places of Public Assembly: License Requirements Violations. The tickets are returnable to First District Court on June 29, 2026.
