The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 8:09 pm in Valley Stream.
According to Detectives, Officers responded to a residential fire located at 192 Lincoln Street. Upon arrival, Officers observed flames emanating from the 2nd floor. The Elmont Fire Department along with several additional Fire Departments responded to extinguish the fire. One firefighter suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention at scene. No other injuries were reported. The Red Cross was notified and responded to assist the displaced residents.
The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad Detectives responded to scene. The cause of the fire is electrical and is deemed not suspicious at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
