The Homicide Squad reports the details of a serious vehicular accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 10:13 pm in Uniondale.
According to detectives, a 39-year-old male was walking northbound on Jerusalem Avenue when he was struck by 2025 green Nissan Pathfinder being operated by a 45-year-old male traveling westbound on Jerusalem Avenue. The pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital where he is currently in critical condition. The driver remained on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
