The Sixth Squad reports the arrest of three individuals for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance that occurred on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 4:59 PM in Manhasset. 

According to Detectives, Officers while on routine patrol observed a white 2007 Ford Expedition traveling westbound on Northern Boulevard failing to maintain their lane. Officers activated their emergency lights and conducted a Vehicle and Traffic Law stop. 

During the investigation, Officers observed a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine in plain sight. Officers attempted to place the rear passenger, Defendant Diosmede Rodriguez Flores, 24, of 120 W 44^th Street, New York under arrest when the defendant became violent and combative causing two officers to sustained injuries before placing him into custody. Defendant Carmen Soto, 24, of 1040 Longfellow Avenue, Bronx and Defendant Nairim Perez-Gonzalez, 34, of 1116 Manor Avenue, Bronx both exited the vehicle and fled scene but were located nearby and placed under arrest without incident. The officers were transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment of their injuries. 

Defendant Diosmede Rodriguez Flores is charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3^rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4^th Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th Degree, two counts of Assault 2^nd Degree and Resisting Arrest. 

Defendant Carmen Soto is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3^rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4^th Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th Degree and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2^nd Degree. 

Defendant Nairim Perez-Gonzalez is charged Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3^rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4^th Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th Degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2^nd Degree and multiple VTL Violations. They will be arraigned on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
