The Electronics Squad Fraud and Forgery Unit reports the arrest of two men for Grand Larceny that occurred between January 13, 2026 and April 12, 2026 in Valley Stream.
According to Detectives, defendants, Ranaldo Davis, 19, of 18307 144th Avenue, Rosedale and Marquis Johnson, 31, of 48 Gordon Avenue, Westbury were both employees of BJ’s located at 125 Green Acres Road South. Between January 13, 2026 and April 12, 2026, the defendants, while acting in concert did make multiple fraudulent returns totaling approximately $175,000 US Currency. The defendants were arrested on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 without incident.
Defendants Davis and Johnson were both charged with Grand Larceny 2nd Degree and Falsifying Business Records 1st Degree. They will be arraigned on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
