The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of two Inwood men for an incident that occurred on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 8:38 PM in Inwood.
According to detectives, officers conducted a Vehicle Traffic Law investigation on a 2017 Nissan on Bayview Avenue in the vicinity of Jeanette Avenue. Subsequent to the investigation, the driver was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended license. The passenger, Defendant William Rodriguez, 43, of 20 Loretta Street, was found to be in possession of a loaded revolver. Both occupants were taken into custody without incident.
The driver is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd Degree and numerous Vehicle Traffic Law violations. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
Defendant William Rodriguez is charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Firearm. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
