The Nassau County Police Departments Emergency Service Unit will be having Memorial Prayer services for P.O. Arthur Lopez as we have done in the past years. The services will be held on the anniversary date Friday, October 23, 2026. We will be at two locations on that day. The first being the Memorial Tree site off the Cross Island Parkway where Artie was shot and killed. The second is at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood where Artie was laid to rest. All members and their families are invited to attend these services and keep Artie’s memory alive. The prayer services will be given by our Department Chaplain, Father Gordon. All services are casual.
