The First Squad reports the details of a Burglary that occurred on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 10:55 PM in Merrick.
According to Detectives, officers responded to Chatterton Elementary School located at 108 Merrick Road for a burglary report. Further investigation revealed an unknown subject entered the building through an unlocked rear window causing approximately $300.00 USC worth of damage to the window screens. Once inside the premise, the subject removed twenty-six (26) Apple iPads before exiting the building. The subject then fled scene in an unknown direction.
