The Public Information Office reports the details of an Aided case involving the birth of a baby girl on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 3:59 AM in Hicksville.
According to Police, Second Precinct Officers responded to a West Old Country Road location for a call of a 28 year old woman in labor. Upon arrival, officers and a Nassau County Police Medic assisted the female onto a Nassau County Police Department ambulance and transported her to a local hospital. A baby girl was delivered in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. The baby and the mother are in stable condition and doing well.
