The Public Information Office reports the arrest of an Elmont man for an incident that occurred on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 10:48 AM in Great Neck.
According to police, officers responded to Middle Neck Road in the vicinity of Millbrook Court for a disturbance. Upon arrival, it was determined that a male was driving a black Jeep in the vicinity of numerous Houses of Worship while yelling out the window. The male’s actions caused disruptions of religious services taking place. Subsequent to an investigation, the Defendant Bilal Kayani, 34, of 26 Sterling Road was located and arrested without incident.
Defendant Bilal Kayani is charged with two counts of Disruption of a Religious Service. He will be arraigned on Sunday, March 22, 2206 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
