The Sixth Squad reports the details of a Burglary that occurred on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 03:49 a.m. in East Hills.
According to Detectives, officers responded to a Melby Lane residence for a disturbance. A 38- year- old female victim was inside of her home when she was alerted for a garage door alarm leading into the main floor. The victim went downstairs and saw two unknown males in her kitchen. The victim screamed for help and then the unknown males fled out of the rear kitchen door. The suspects left in an unknown direction in an unknown vehicle. An investigation revealed three unknown suspects walked up the victim’s driveway and rummaged through the victim’s vehicle prior to entering the home. Further investigation revealed that approximately $1,000 USC was removed from the victim’s house. No injuries were reported at scene. Investigation is ongoing.
