The Electronics Squad Fraud and Forgery Section reports the arrest of a Syosset man for a Grand Larceny that occurred on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. in Hicksville.
According to Detectives, Advantage Hyundai located at 440 Plainview Road reported to police a loss of approximately $64,000 USC. Their business records showed the sale of a new automobile and the funds were never placed into the business account. After a thorough investigation, defendant Kyle Roberts, 42, of 27 Lorraine Street was arrested without incident. At the time of the incident the defendant was the fleet sales manager and diverted the funds into his personal bank account.
Defendant Roberts is charged with Grand Larceny 2nd Degree and Falsifying Business Records 1st Degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
