The Public Information Office reports the details of a Vehicular Accident that occurred on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 4:36 pm in North Long Beach.
According to Police, a 30-year-old male was operating a Teewing high-performance Electric Scooter southbound on Austin Boulevard when he suddenly stopped short at the corner of Saratoga Boulevard, causing him to be eject over the handlebars. The E-scooter operator suffered a severe head injury and was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment. He is currently listed in critical but stable condition. No other injuries were reported.
