The Fifth Precinct Problem Oriented Police (POP) Unit reports the arrest of Elmont man for an incident that occurred on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 5:20 pm in Valley Stream.
According to Police, officers conducted an investigation targeting the sale of flavored vape products being sold at the Valero Gas Station located at 758 Franklin Avenue. During the investigation, officers observed a large quantity of flavored vape products, Kratom and assorted Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) products displayed for sale.
As a result of the investigation, Defendant Amritpreet Singh, 18, of 1326 Standard Avenue was placed under arrest. He is charged with Sale of Restricted Products, Sale of Flavored Products Prohibited, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree, Unlicensed Cannabis Sale and Disorderly Premise. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
