The Public Information Office reports the details of a Vehicular Accident that occurred on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 3:37 pm in East Hills.
According to police, a 19-year-old male was operating a 2024 white Jeep Wrangler northbound on Beechwood Road when his vehicle left the roadway striking a home located on Beechwood Road. The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. The residence was vacant at the time and no other injuries were reported. The vehicle was removed by the Nassau County Emergency Service Unit. The Roslyn Building Department responded to the scene to evaluate the home and deemed it structurally unsafe.
