The Missing Persons Squad reports the details of a Missing Juvenile that occurred on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 7:40 AM in Port Washington and was reported to police on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 8:50 AM.
According to detectives, Elize Avazis, 16, was last seen boarding a Port Washington LIRR train to Penn Station. She is described as a female white, 5’5” tall, approximately 125 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and dark sweatpants. The missing is known to travel to New York City.
