The Special Victim Squad in conjunction with the Freeport Police Department reports the arrest of a Freeport man for Public Lewdness for an incident that occurred on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 8:30 pm in Freeport.
According to Detectives, a female juvenile, 5, and her mother were shopping at Marshalls located at 256 E. Sunrise Highway. The female juvenile noticed an unknown male exposing his genitals. The juvenile immediately notified her mother and her mother contacted police. After a thorough investigation, Defendant Rory Anderson, 32, of 621 S. Bayview Avenue was placed under arrest without incident.
Defendant Rory Anderson is charged with Public Lewdness and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He will be arraigned on Friday, September 4, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
