The Sixth Squad reports the arrest of a Queens man for an incident that occurred on Monday, October 5, 2026 at 3:37 PM in Manhasset.
According to detectives, officers responded to North Shore University Hospital located at 300 Community Drive for an assault report. Upon arrival, it was determined that a patient became agitated and struck two nurses with a closed fist. Responding officers placed the Defendant Oshane Bernard, 36, of 6126 231st Street, Oakland Gardens, under arrest without incident. The victims, both 29 year old females, were evaluated by hospital staff at scene.
Defendant Oshane Bernard is charged with two counts of Assault 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned when medically practical.
