First Squad Detectives and the Narcotics/Vice Squad report the arrest of two individuals on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 4:51 pm in Rockville Centre.
According to Detectives, a female victim, 32, while at Kokoro Wellness located at 78 N. Village Avenue noticed what appeared to be a recording device on the wall inside the massage therapy room. The victim left the establishment and notified police.
After an extensive investigation, Defendant Luke Unneland, 38, of 44 Shore Drive South, Copiague was placed under arrest. It was also determined three additional patrons were victims of this crime. Defendant Luke Unneland is charged with four counts of Unlawful Surveillance 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at First District Court 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
Further investigation revealed that illegal massages were also being conducted at this location. Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives placed Defendant Daniela Cespedes Almonacid, 35, of 9815 Horace Harding Expressway, Corona under arrest without incident.
Defendant Daniela Cespedes Almonacid is charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession. She was released on an Appearance Ticket. Further investigation revealed the defendant is illegally in the United States and is subject to removal proceedings. U.S. Immigration Customs Enforcement Agents (ICE) took custody of the defendant.
