The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a fire that occurred on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 7:57 pm in Valley Stream.
According to Detectives, Officers responded to a residential house fire located at 96 St Marks Place. Upon arrival, Officers observed a heavy smoke condition and flames emanating from the 2nd Floor. The Valley Stream Fire Department and neighboring fire departments responded to extinguish the flames. The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad responded to the scene. A resident suffered an injury and was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment. No other injuries were reported.
