The Eighth Squad reports the arrest of a Bay Shore man for an Assault that occurred on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 6:30 PM in Farmingdale.
According to detectives, officers responded to a disturbance on Main Street in the vicinity of South Front Street. Upon arrival, it was determined that a male attacked a 45-year-old female victim by punching and stabbing her in the chest and shoulder with an unknown object before fleeing the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition. After a thorough investigation, the defendant Todd McGee, 49, of 5 Dewey Place was located nearby and placed under arrest without further incident.
Defendant Todd McGee is charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree and Aggravated Criminal Contempt. He will be arraigned on Monday, February 2, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
