The Third Squad reports the arrest of a Westbury man for an incident that occurred on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 9:23 p.m. in Westbury.
According to Detectives, a 22-year-old female victim was sitting in her parked vehicle with her daughter near the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and S Grand Street when the suspect opened her vehicles door and forcibly touched her before fleeing the scene on foot. After a thorough investigation, the suspect, Mohammed Karimzada, 53, of 17 S Grand Street, was arrested without further incident.
Defendant Mohammed Karimzada is charged with Forcible Touching, Persistent Sexual Abuse and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He will be arraigned on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at 99 Main Street, Hempstead. Further investigation revealed the defendant Mohammed Karimzada was previously convicted for multiple sex offences.
