The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 3:28 PM in Great Neck.
According to Detectives, Officers responded to 444 Middle Neck Road for an apartment building fire. Upon arrival, officers observed a heavy smoke condition and flames emanating from a third-floor apartment. The Great Neck Alert Fire Department and neighboring fire departments responded to extinguish the flames. The Nassau County Fire Marshal and the Arson Bomb Squad responded to the scene. A female resident suffered smoke inhalation and was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment.
The fire was deemed non-suspicious at this time.
