The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of three individuals for an incident that occurred on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at 3:31 pm in Hewlett.

According to Detectives, Bureau of Special Operation (BSO) Officers while on routine patrol observed a 2017 Nissan Altima traveling southbound on Peninsula Boulevard changing lanes unsafely. Officers activated their emergency lights and conducted a Vehicle and Traffic Law stop. After an investigation was conducted, the operator of the vehicle Defendant Louis Wilson, 28, of 33 Berry Hill Road, Oyster Bay was found in possession of a substance believed to be crack/cocaine and heroin. The passengers, Defendant Hasheem D. Foster, 36, of 145 Terrace Avenue, Hempstead and Defendant Ana Bonilla, 33, of 590 Fulton Avenue, Hempstead were also found to be in possession of a substance believed to be crack/cocaine and heroin. Additionally, the defendant initially provided police with false information regarding her name. They were all placed under arrest without incident.

Further investigation revealed the Defendants Louis Wilson and Ana Bonilla committed a larceny at Ulta Beauty located at 3203 Long Beach Road, Oceanside on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at 12:10 pm. 

Defendant Hasheem D. Foster is charged with six counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4^th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3^rd Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Defendant Louis Wilson is charged with Grand Larceny 4^th Degree, six counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4^th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3^rd Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence and numerous Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. They will be arraigned on Monday, January 19, 2026 at First District Court 99 Main Street, Hempstead. Defendant Ana Bonilla is charged with Grand Larceny 4^th Degree, six counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th Degree and False Personation. She was released on an Appearance Ticket returnable on Monday, February 9, 2026.
