The Public Information Office reports the details of a Vehicular Accident involving an E-Scooter that occurred on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 8:06 pm in Wantagh.
According to Police, a 28-year-old male was operating an E-Scooter southbound on Briard Street when he struck the passenger side door of a 2019 Jeep Cherokee being operated by a 42-year-old male who was making a left-hand turn onto Homestead Avenue. The E-Scooter operator suffered an arm injury and multiple lacerations to his face. He was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment. He is currently listed in stable condition.
