The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 6:30 PM in Herricks.
According to Detectives, Officers responded to a Foch Boulevard residence for a house fire. Upon arrival, officers observed a heavy smoke condition and flames emanating from the home. The New Hyde Park Fire Department and neighboring fire departments responded to extinguish the flames. The Nassau County Fire Marshal and the Arson Bomb Squad responded to the scene. A resident suffered a minor injury and was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment.
