The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 5:18 pm in Franklin Square.

According to Detectives, officers responded to 529 Bagels located at 529 Franklin Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed a heavy smoke condition and flames emanating from the building. The Franklin Square Fire Department and neighboring fire departments responded to extinguish the flames. Two adjoining business units also suffered severe damage. The Nassau County Fire Marshal and the Arson Bomb Squad responded to the scene. A firefighter suffered from smoke inhalation and was treated on scene. No other injuries were reported. 

The fire was deemed non-suspicious at this time.
