The Narcotics/Vice Squad reports the arrest of a Bellerose woman for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance on May 6, 2026 at 6:00 pm in Bellerose.
According to Detectives, an investigation was conducted at Hempire located at
244-08 Jericho Turnpike where it was determined that Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) were being sold. Defendant Jaspira K. Thomas, 31, 244-08 Jericho Turnpike was placed under arrest without incident. The Town of Hempstead Buildings Department secured the property.
Defendant is charged with Attempted Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree. She will be arraigned on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
