The Seventh Squad reports the arrest of a Deer Park man for a Grand Larceny that occurred on Wednesday, September 28, 2026 at 7:30 am in Seaford.
According to detectives, James J. Vollaro, 58, of 9 Reed Drive, entered Maria Regina Church located at 3945 Jerusalem Avenue. While inside, Vollaro removed sacramentals from the alter and exited the church. After a thorough investigation the defendant was located by police at his residence on October 7, 2026 and placed into custody without incident.
Defendant James J. Vollaro is charged with Grand Larceny 4th Degree. He was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket returnable to First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead on October 21, 2026.
