The Second Squad reports the arrest of a Hicksville man for an incident that occurred on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 8:30 p.m. in Hicksville.

According to detectives, second precinct officers responded to Burns Avenue for a disturbance outside of a residence. Upon arrival, it was determined that the defendant, Alejandro Adorno, 21, was involved in an argument with a 68-year-old male victim. The argument escalated into a physical altercation resulting in the defendant striking the victim with a closed fist multiple times before knocking him to the ground and biting the victim’s ear and arm. The defendant was arrested without incident. The victim and defendant were transported to local area hospitals for evaluation and treatment. 

Defendant Alejandro Adorno is charged with Assault 1^st Degree and Assault 2^nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Friday, March 27, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street Hempstead.
