The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of a Long Beach man for Endangering the Welfare of a Child that occurred on December 23, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. in Lido Beach.
According to Detectives, John Anfossi, 54, of 504 Laurelton Boulevard did touch a juvenile female student in a sexually inappropriate manner during wrestling practice. The incident occurred at Lido Elementary School, 237 Lido Boulevard, Lido, where the defendant worked as an assistant wrestling coach.
John Anfossi is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was arraigned on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
