The Electronics Squad / Fraud & Forgery Section report the arrest of a Franklin Square man on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 7:08 pm in Franklin Square.
According to Detectives, Defendant Wilfredo Franco Ramirez, 42, of 102 Courthouse Road, knowingly received a package of fraudulently purchased natural loose diamonds valued at approximately $158,000 USC. The defendant was placed under arrest without incident. No injuries were reported.
Defendant Wilfredo Franco Ramirez is charged with Grand Larceny 2nd Degree and Scheme to Defraud 1st Degree. He was arraigned on Saturday, May 30, 2026 in First District Court.
