The Electronics Squad / Fraud & Forgery Section reports the arrest of a Hicksville man for a Grand Larceny that occurred on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 3:07 p.m. in Hicksville.
According to Detectives, a male, 40, was contacted by a company named Wavepayz and offered him debt relief assistance. The victim agreed and was instructed to make a $9,500 payment to Purzue Care Inc., located at 64 Gardner Avenue in Hicksville. The payment was received and the company was supposed to negotiate terms with the victim’s creditors. None of the debts were satisfied.
The victim reported the incident to police in March of 2026.
A thorough investigation was conducted and Nitin Pal Singh, 43, of 64 Gardner Avenue was arrested.
Defendant Nitin Pal Singh is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at First District Court, Hempstead.
