The Fifth Squad reports the details of an Assault that occurred at 8:15pm on Wednesday March 17, 2021 in Elmont.
According to Detectives, the female victim, 21, while walking on the driveway of her Arlington Avenue residence was approached from behind by an unknown male. The male suspect was carrying a white colored cup containing a dark colored substance which he then threw at the victim’s face. The suspect fled eastbound on Arlington Avenue. The victim did sustain serious physical injuries and was transported by Police Ambulance to a local area hospital for treatment.
The male suspect is described as approximately 6’2” tall, skinny build, wearing a black colored sweatshirt with a hood and wearing gloves.

Fifth precinct detectives report the arrest of Terrell Campbell, 29, of 741 Drew Street, Brooklyn in connection with the above incident. He is charged with two counts of Assault 1st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon fourth Degree and Unlawfully Possessing Noxious Matter. He was arraigned on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
