The Third Squad reports the arrest of a male juvenile for an incident that occurred on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. in New Hyde Park.

According to detectives, a thorough investigation by police revealed that a 14-year-old male was in possession of a bb gun and a knife on the grounds of New Hyde Park Memorial High School located at 500 Leonard Boulevard.

The male juvenile is charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Person Under 16. He was released on an Appearance Ticket returnable to Nassau County Family Court.
