The Nassau County Police Department will once again be participating in the Annual “National Faith & Blue Weekend”. This event creates meaningful relationships between law enforcement and people from all backgrounds and faiths. The community is invited to attend and meet their local Police Officers at the Houses of Worship which are hosting these events.
There will be demonstrations by various specialized units in the Department and residents can meet these officers and ask about their training, responsibilities and how they keep the community safe. Members from Community Affairs are coordinating these events along with the following Houses of Worship.

Where – Saint Agnes Cathedral, 9 Quealy Place, Rockville Centre
When – Saturday, October 11th, 2025 from 10:30am to 12:30pm
Where – Hillside Islamic Center, 300 Hillside Avenue, New Hyde Park
When – Saturday, October 11th, 2025 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm
