The Homicide Squad report the details of a Serious Vehicular Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Wednesday, September 30, 2025 at 3:25 pm in Freeport.
According to detectives, a female pedestrian, 54, was struck on Mill Road at the intersection of Buffalo Street by a 2005 Dodge Ram pick-up truck, operated by a 82-year-old male.
As a result of the collision, the female pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. She is currently listed in critical condition.
The driver remained at the scene.No further injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
**UPDATE**
The above listed victim has succumbed to her injuries and was declared deceased by a hospital physician. She has been identified as Adriana Monsalve, 54, of Freeport.
