The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Serious Vehicular Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 9:15 pm in Roslyn Heights.
According to Detectives, a 72-year-old male pedestrian was crossing Mineola Avenue in the vicinity of Woodward Street where he was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene. The pedestrian sustained serious physical injuries and was transported to a local area hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition.
The investigation is on-going.
